What can I do to relieve bad backmusclepain?
Hey Steve! You are describing an area of the back with a lot of little adjoining muscles.
It’s actually very easy to damage these – even sneezing in an awkward position can do it! This happened to a friend of mine and she was in severe pain for a good while.
I’m just getting over a similar injury due to lifting my kids up whilst playing with them! So easy to do!
It may be that your awkward sleep was actually caused by an injury earlier the day before, not the other way round.
Either way though, you have an injury and it needs sorting.
The main problem I suspect you are suffering is from inflammation. A cold compress will help relieve pain for a while but given the position i would strongly suggest you take antinflamatories such as ibuprofen to allow the muscle to heal.
Because the other muscles in the area are numerous they are trying to compensate for the damaged one and will cause more aggravation. Take ibuprofen regularly as described on the packet and rest as much as you can. Lifting things with the other side of your body will not save pressure on the damaged area.
If things don’t get better in 3 or 4 days see your GP for more powerful versions of ibuprofen like drugs (naprosyn for example).
Remember if you are asthmatic to be careful with ibuprofen.
how and what do i do with this Backmusclepain?
I would suggest that you purchase heating pads for back pain. They sell them at drugstores. You can take a hot bath. The hottest your body can stand and relax for like 20 minutes in it. Taking some Ibuprofen helps because not only is it for the pain but it helps with the inflammation. Rubbing your sore muscles with ointments (for back pain) that they sell at drugstores can also relieve your pain. Try not to strain yourself with any heavy duty activities. Lay low for about a week at least. And if your pain gets worse or persists, then see your doctor.
how do i recover fast from upper left backmusclepain?
ugh unfortunately if you strained it only time can help. I would say maybe some heat on it right before your track meet and do some deep stretching.
what is causing all the backpain, muscle spasms, and tingling in my back?
First, if you’ve been having this back and neck pain, etc. for that long, you should go see your doctor right away. Some other possible remedies would be back stretching exercises and back strengthening exercises. Most of us do not maintain our backs very well, and this is essential in reducing problems. Having strong stomach muscles also helps support the back. There are very easy and quick exercises you can do that can help alleviate back pain fairly quickly.
It sounds like you may have a pinched nerve, as well. Re: muscle spasms, potassium can help this a lot, as well as other natural remedies. Bananas are one great source of potassium.
Another big possibility is posture. If you have poor posture, this puts a lot of strain on your back and neck. There are a lot of natural pain remedies, therapies, and back pain medicine or relaxants available, as well.
Dehydration is another big cause of back pain, or pain in general. I would make sure you’re drinking plenty of ‘hydrating’ liquids, not just coffee, soda, etc.
You might try some of the suggestions above and see if it will help. But, if this continues, you need to see your doctor. There can be a lot of causes of this, and it will only get worse if you don’t proactively work toward a solution.
